Series ‘Z’

Complexity and silky opulence in a reserve package

'Z' CHARDONNAY

2015

In the vineyard: Slavyantsi village, Kush Balar vineyard

In the Cellar: The better part of the grapes (85 percent) was fermented in new French oak for added texture and complexity and the rest was fermented in tanks at cool temperature to deliver precisely the pure fruit of the Chardonnay. No malolactic fermentation lends the right acid balance for aging. After 10 months maturation in new French barriques, the wine was assembled and bottled. Minimum 6 months of bottle aging in our temperature-controlled cellar.

Aлкохол: 13.5%
TA: 5.87 g/l
pH: 3.4
Residual sugar: dry

In the glass: Displays aromas of peach and a hint of flinty minerality, which reminds of a cooler climate. The palate has a sweet stone fruit entry with grapefruit peel and watermelon. Accents of toast and butter along with roast almonds slowly unfold in piquant waves. The ultra-long finish with perfect complement of oak creates an experience that is both fresh and rich. Will age gracefully until 2022.
